Youth Choir
The Cathedral Youth Choir is an auditioned group of singers ages 14-18 that serves as the primary musical offering for the monthly “Youth Mass”, which takes place at 6 p.m. on the fourth Sunday of each month. The group rehearses from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. on Tuesdays and requires a strong sense of commitment from those involved. Focusing largely on a cappella sacred music, the youth choir sings music from many styles, periods, and traditions including “world music” and American “roots” music, and will prepare teens for different types of ensemble singing in their adult lives.
