Children’s Choir
The Cathedral Children’s Choir is open to all children ages 8 to 13 who like to sing and who can commit to our weekly rehearsal schedule. Building on the music education received in the Cathedral’s “Intro to Music” class, the Children’s Choir teaches children vocal production, music theory, sight-singing, and elements of music history and serves the Cathedral community by providing beautiful singing during Sunday worship. Singing in harmony is introduced through a repertoire from across the centuries, and occasionally includes four-part music sung with adult choir. Boys and Girls rehearse separately but typically join together in singing on Sunday morning once a month and on special occasions.
