Caméléon
The Cathedral supports Caméléon, an association formed by Frenchwoman Laurence Ligier 12 years ago to help abused street children in the Philippines. In 2012 we are funding an extensive staff-training program under which psychologists and other experts will come in from Manila to work with personnel at the resident center in Iolo. Parishioner Louise Trueheart spent a month at the center last summer working with the girls on movement therapy, and we at the Cathedral hosted two girls who came from the Philippines to Paris to receive an achievement award.
